Policy and market dynamics of cross-border co-operation in the Northern Greek borders

This paper intends to analyze the effects of economic and social dynamics such as trade, FDI and migration as well as policies of co-operation in the Greek regions bordering Albania, FYROM and Bulgaria. The paper will employ a number of statistical indicators in order to highlight regional profiles at both sides of the borders and will evaluate the impact of INTERREG and Phare-CBC Programs in the ‘90s. The paper concludes with policy recommendations.
