	Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung Nordrhein-Westfalen GmbH - Economic Development Corporation North Rhine-Westphalia (GfW): The GfW is a corporation that is owned by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and supports the state´s efforts to improve its economic structure. It has been a competent partner for over 40 years to business and industry in North Rhine-Westphalia and abroad.
	Projekt Ruhr GmbH - Project Ruhr Ltd: The "Projekt Ruhr GmbH" was founded in March 2000 by the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia to encourage the innovative process in the Ruhr area by development and conversion of pattern-like, regional embodied projects, that make the Ruhr area competitive for the international contest.
	Stadt Dortmund - City of Dortmund: In the centre of North Rhine-Westphalia, the most important region in Europe and the federal state with the strongest economy, Dortmund is one of the ten largest and most prominent cities in Germany. Quality of life is influenced by a rich vein of cultural and sporting offers, model parks, and an attractive city-centre. An excellent transport network and infrastructure, a skilled, hard-working workforce, choice investment opportunities, and exceptional practice-oriented research institutions all go to make Dortmund a primary business location.
	TechnologieZentrumDortmund - Dortmund Technology Centre: The "TechnologieZentrumDortmund" was started up in 1985 by the city of Dortmund, local banks, the University of Dortmund, the Advanced Technical College of Dortmund and several private corporations. It is a developmental and experimental centre for prototypes and pilot productions in selected technological segments.
	Akademie für Raumforschung und Landesplanung : The ARL traces it's origins back to 1946, as an independent spatial research institution. The structure was set up to serve as an network combining spatial science competence.
	Wuestenrot Stiftung - Wuestenrot Foundation: The wuestenrot foundation is a non-profit-making organization and one of the organizers of the special Workshop "The Spatial Implications of the New Economy" on Friday, 30st, and Saturday, 31st August. They exclusively donate welfare projects in science, research, education, arts and culture as well as the preservation of monuments.
	Universität Dortmund - University of Dortmund: The University of Dortmund was founded in 1968. Nowadays the University with its 25,000 students and 3,000 employees is one of the most important universities in the Ruhr area.
