Welcome From Industry to Advanced Services - Perspectives of European Metropolitan Regions

Gasometer Oberhausen from a frog's perspective. The 117,5 m building that used to hold 347.000 m³ of industrial gas is one of the most famous landmarks
of the industrial heritage used today for concerts and exhibits.

This Congress CD-Rom is intended to allow a quick overview of the scientific program of the 42nd congress of the European Regional Science Association (ERSA). With about 410 abstracts and 320 papers (papers arrived by August 10 th, 2002) it demonstrates the continuous increase of interest in regional science and discloses the abundance and variety of spatial research.

The papers are listed by Congress Themes and - within a theme group - by the name of the Authors.
In addition, you find a full alphabetically ordered index of authors.
We hope that you will keep the Dortmund congress in pleasant memory.
